Our Pastor
Our Pastor, Rev. Bruce J. Benton, Jr. resigned effective January 31, 2012 to accept a call to Sparta Presbyterian Church in Sparta, NC. Rev. Benton and his wife, Lynda, will be greatly missed by the Gulf congregation. We are grateful for all that Rev. and Mrs. Benton have meant to our congregation over the past four years.

As we search for a new pastor we are thankful to have wonderful support from Salem Presbytery and from Rev. Troy Lesher-Thomas, pastor of Pittsboro Presbyterian Church who will be serving as Moderator.

And we are grateful to Reverends Keith Miller, Jim Rissmiller, Jerry Schronce and Bill Browder who will be supplying our pulpit in the in the immediate future.
